The vision

The demand for engaging, educational virtual retail experiences is rapidly growing as Sage (known as Breville outside EMEA) customers increasingly research products pre-purchase and require convenient, quality aftercare online.

Thanks to our long and well established partnership, Sage tasked Stellar with evolving and expanding their premium customer offering across their digital platforms.

Experience

Sage Studios is a dedicated space from which Sage product experts can connect virtually with customers, either one-to-one or as part of an audience.


Within six months we had designed and built Sage Studios – a virtual experience hub from which to deliver an array of content.

This dedicated space, in the shape of state-of-the-art booths and kitchen area, provides the perfect backdrop for Sage product experts to broadcast from, whether one-to-one or one-to-many, live or on demand.

Efficiency is at the heart of Studios. From one space, we deliver virtual sales both for D2C and third-party retailers such as John Lewis and Harvey Norman. We operate 24/7 and cover the Australian Time Zone to boost conversions and experience, no matter where customers are.

Digitally delivered masterclasses, demonstrations and the Sage TikTok shop all play a role in educating and bringing together their community. Masterclasses are available in many languages and give audiences the chance to learn from the experts, empowering them to get the most from the products they buy

Individual virtual interactions are tailored to the customer’s exact needs and provide the same knowledge and service levels expected in stores. This enables Sage to deliver unique experiences, however a customer chooses to engage with them.

Valuable data is collected across Sage Studios’ virtual output and put to work immediately, as analysis allows us to quickly identify not only the wins, but also the gaps in service so they can be addressed immediately.

We continue to capitalise on the opportunities that have become available to us as a result of Sage Studios, from virtual unboxing and onboarding experiences to promoting subscriptions and attachment sales. Every positive digital experience enjoyed by Sage audiences gives them a reason to return.
